Simply Sunday #8

simply sundaySimply Sunday is a reading meme hosted by Books For a Delicate Eternity. It’s where you share your favorite quote; be it from a book movie, novella, song, ect.

My favorite quote this week is from City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare:

We are all the pieces of what we remember. We hold in ourselves the hopes and fears of those who love us. As long as there is love and memory, there is no true loss.

Why I Chose It

I believe these words are beautiful in a time of loss. This inspires hope and love when death is often filled with mourning and painstaking guilt. But as long as we remember the good times with the recently deceased, there truly is no loss. They will always be there in your heart.

Thoughts? I’d love to hear them!

  2. This is such a beautiful quote, and it makes me really, really want to read City of Heavenly Fire now! I bought it the day it came out, but I still haven’t gotten around to it >.<

And like Ramisa said, the way you explained it is absolutely gorgeous, Emma dear ❤
